The La Marzocco Linea Mini, introduced in 2015, has quickly become the most sought-after home espresso machine. It’s essentially a compact version of its commercial counterpart, sharing many of the same characteristics and design elements. Nine years on, it’s received a significant update. The revamped Linea Mini boasts not only a new exterior but also several advanced features under the hood.
Revealed on Wednesday, February 14th, the updated Linea Mini presents a more modern and robust look. Among the aesthetic enhancements are soft-touch accessories designed to improve the user’s tactile experience, along with a design element referred to as the “Della Pietra curve” (named after Stefano Della Pietra, a product designer at La Marzocco).
The upgraded Linea Mini now features a built-in shot timer and an enhanced cool-touch steam wand with a PEEK polymer tip for safer use. Users can easily adjust pump pressure without technical know-how too. The machine’s pre-infusion system has been updated to a two-valve system for better saturation and includes a self-cleaning flow restrictor. Additionally, it offers Brew-by-Weight scale compatibility and integrates with the La Marzocco Home App. With the updates, Linea Mini offers home coffee experience with commercial-level precision and convenience.
